Rabbi B - Purim Basket Treats

Rabbi B sends his own version of a Purim Basket (Mishoach Manot). Inside you will find a huge gragger (Ra’ashanim) collection, a fun Booing Haman game, a great Purim craft and so much more! Purim is the holiday which commemorates the (Divinely orchestrated) salvation of the Jewish people in the ancient Persian empire from Haman’s plot “to destroy all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in a single day.” We celebrate Purim with listening to the Megillah (story scroll of Purim), Sending gift baskets of food to friends, giving extra tzedakah charity and eating a sumptuous meal. Purim falls on the 14th of Adar, typically in the month of March. Check your local synagogue for service times and party dates.
