Il gruppo terminò l’album alle 4 di mattina, il giorno stesso in cui partirono verso il Belgio. La band voleva tornare ai Surrey Sound Studios, dove aveva registrato i due album precedenti, riuscirono però a trattenere il loro produttore abituale Nigel Gray che raddoppiò il loro compenso rispetto i primi due album, ma ancora non adeguato per una band di fama internazionale. Il terzo lavoro del trio inglese stilisticamente non risulta molto diverso dai due album precedenti, emergono ancora le influenze reggae e punk rock, prima del passaggio a sonorità più sperimentali nei due dischi successivi. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zenyatta Mondatta was recorded at Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, Holland, during the second tour of the band with little time available, dividing between the production studio and the dates of their second tour. The group ended the album at 4 in the morning, the same day they left for Belgium. The band wanted to return to Surrey Sound Studios, where they had recorded the two previous albums, but managed to retain their usual producer Nigel Gray who doubled their fee compared to the first two albums, but still not adequate for an internationally renowned band.
