US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has been captured wincing while President Joe Biden labelled Xi Jinping a “dictator” during a speech. The comments came after a four-hour meeting between the two leaders at the APEC summit in San Francisco. It’s the second time President Biden has labelled the Chinese President a “dictator”. Beijing has retaliated against the comments, labelling them “incorrect” and “political manipulation”. “This kind of statement is extremely incorrect and irresponsible political manipulation which China resolutely opposes,” Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said.
