They dance in a circle holding hands in Ancient Greek style costumes. Their freedom of movement is contrasted with women dressed in Elizabethan style clothes who find it difficult to sit down gracefully because of their cumbersome skirts. An exercise class for mannequins (models) is shown. Exercises are designed to improve balance and poise. Exercises include touching the toes, standing on one leg and walking with bowls of ice cream balanced on the head! Madame Delaroche - who is a famous expert - directs the exercises.
