Sir Rod & The Blues Doctors, “Sanctified Blues“ LIVE (2021)

Busking at the Juke Joint Festival in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Sir Rod & The Blues Doctors are a trio consisting of Rod Patterson (vocals), Adam Gussow (harmonica and drums), and Alan Gross (guitar). “Sanctified Blues“ is an original composition by Sterling Magee, with whom Gussow recorded and performed for many years in the duo Satan & Adam. Magee and Gussow are the subject of the documentary “Satan & Adam,“ currently screening on Netflix. Patterson is Magee’s nephew.
