Wolfenstein : The New Order (AKA The New World) - August 29th, 2012 Prototype - Ch. 4 Playthrough
This is a playthrough of Wolfenstein - The New Order (Aug 29, 2012) called “Wolfenstein - The New World“ at the time. The retail game was released in May of 2014. This particular build was recovered from an Xbox 360 devkit where it was deleted on the internal hard drive. Some work was needed to recover the deleted files then defragment one of them.
This build is almost a full 2 years prior to release and as such has some quirks...
None of the main menu works - at all and even though the Options has sub-menus, none of those work either. Also, as far as game-play, for example the hatch near the beginning of the chapter (after sliding down the pipe) does not work and I must no-clip through it. There are many collectibles missing. The chain link fence textures are WIP and not see-through many other things one familiar with the retail chapter will notice. There are also various bugs that will attempt to hinder my progress along the way.
One final note is there seems to be no ending to the level scripted yet as when you exit the prison at the end after killing all the guards - nothing happens which is why you see me no-clip around to check stuff out as that is literally the end of the chapter.
Lastly, dont judge my much, lol. The thumb stick sensitivity is a little wonky and it is hard to control without constantly over-correcting, not to mention there is more input delay/lag as its a less optimized build with debug functionality running in the background taking processing time as well. I do my best. :)
The build is on HP friends. ;)
One part had to have the audio muted for a short period as a song was playing in the background that was copyrighted.
