This is Frank Sinatra’s second recording of Cy Coleman’s and Joseph Allan McCarthy’s “Why Try To Change Me Now“ recorded on March 24, 1959 with Gordon Jenkins arranging and conducting for the No One Cares LP which is considered one of Sinatra’s darkest theme albums during his Capitol period. The first version, recorded 7 years earlier on September 17, 1952 conducted by Percy Faith, was Frank Sinatra’s final recording for Columbia Records, ending a 9 year relationship and recorded at a low point in his care
