Does Costa Rica’s Land Of 1,000 Dogs Live Up To The Hype? | Destination Debunkers

INSIDER’s A.C. Fowler visits the land of 1,000 dogs in Territorio de Zaguates, Costa Rica. Does it live up to the hype, or is it a travel nightmare? Territorio de Zaguates is tucked away in Alajuela, about an hour outside of Costa Rica’s capital city San José. Costa Rica is being overrun by over one million stray dogs. Territorio de Zaguates is a no-kill shelter looking to help fix the problem. They take in homeless dogs and provide them with shelter, food, and medical care. All of the dogs at the shelter are up for adoption. A.C. tests how safe the experience is, how easy it is to do the two-mile hike, and how well the dogs are taken care of. ------------------------------------------------------ #CostaRica #Dogs #INSIDER INSIDER is great journalism about what passionate people actually want to know.
