Optimist World Championships 2019 Antigua - Monday, race day 1

The ice was broken today when 4 fleets sailed onto the racecourse and commenced qualifying races for the team race event and for the individual finals toward the end of the week. During today’s two races, all the racers began to adapt to the wonderful Caribbean conditions and also to the challenge of patches of sargassum seaweed.
