GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Hurricanes () | 41 Save Effort for Jarry

The Pittsburgh Penguins faced off against the Carolina Hurricanes for another battle atop of the Metro division. Brian Boyle opened up the scoring, putting Pittsburgh up 1-0 in the first period. Danton Heinen followed suit in the second with a deflection off of Mike Matheson’s shot to extend the lead to 2-0. The Hurricanes cut the Penguins lead down to one early into the third period but a pair of empty-netters from Sidney Crosby and Zach Aston-Reese along with some stellar saves from Tristan Jarry was enough to give Pittsburgh the 4-2 victory.
