A big problem was the icy wind that, despite the switch heating, managed to freeze the switches. Let’s thank everyone who contributed to the fact that we can ride again! Note the snow-free platforms, all old-fashioned handcraft. At ’t Harde station, a team stands in the freezing cold burning the switches clean. I naturally raise my thumb to these heroes. If you ’freeze’ the image, you can see from their faces how that is appreciated. After ’t Harde a train drives towards us and you see an enormous drifting snow cloud behind it. Spectacular! At Wezep station, a tractor with a snowplow crosses the road and at the red bridge over the IJssel you can see the floodplains full of water. Enjoy!
