Bittersweet - Apocalyptica - Piano Cover

Bittersweet tell us an ambiguous story of 2 men who are under the spell of a mysterious and elusive woman they love or loved. Each of them expresses it in a different way, one seems to remember it with melancholy whereas the other shows he’s unwillingness to give up this impossible love. In both cases they feel “lost in the arms of destiny”. The singers in charge of this drama are Villie Valo and Lauri Ylonen, from the band HIM and The Rasmus respectively. In this occasion they collaborate with another great Finnish band, Apocalyptica, who wrote this song for the album with the same name released in 2004. For those who haven’t heard of them before Apocalyptica is a metal band formed by 4 cellist who became well know for their instrumental covers of Metallica. They showed a fresh and vigorous approach to the instrument in a genre that wasn’t generally associated to the cello.
