Palestinian Foreign Minister: ‘Israel deliberately uses starvation as a weapon of war’

“We must have the courage to say that our system is failing and failing miserably.” Riyad al-Maliki, Palestinian Foreign Minister, gave a speech at the 75th Anniversary of the United Declaration of Human Rights in Geneva. He added that at least one million Palestinians in Gaza are starving due to Israel’s “deliberate use of starvation” as a weapon of war. Israel has killed at least 18,000 Palestinians in Gaza since 7 October, with hundreds more being killed each day as Israel’s ground invasion and bombardment of the Gaza Strip continues.
