Subscribe to our channel! The leader of the Israeli opposition and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a third dose of the COVID vaccine at Sheba Medical Centre in Ramat Gan, on Friday, after the government approved booster jabs of citizens aged over 60. In a short statement prior to vaccination, Netanyahu criticized Naftali Bennett’s cabinet for delays in vaccine rollout that Nehanyahu had ordered whilst he was still prime minister, months ago. “It is a pity they wasted a month for no need, with high costs, but clearly it’s better late than never,“, Netanyahu said. He concluded by urging the nation to receive their third jabs. The adults can receive a third shot of Pfizer-BioNTech at least five months after the second vaccination appointment. Israel’s President Isaac Herzog was the first to receive the third jab for the campaign, earlier in the day. SOUNDBITE: SOT, Benjamin Netanyahu, Opposition leader
