Chester Bennington sings “Hallelujah“ in Eulogy to Chris Cornell

Chester Bennington performed at the funeral of his close friend Chris Cornell just two months before he took his own life. Chester was good friends with the Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman, and sang a haunting version of Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah at his funeral on May 26. The 41-year-old sang the ballad alongside Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson at the memorial service at the Hollywood Forever cemetery. The funeral was private but as it took place outside, waiting fans could hear Chester’s performance, with recordings of the poignant song surfacing online.
