At least some of it was shot in Tân Trụ, a rural district of Long An Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. At the time Operation Concordia, a joint U.S. and South Vietnamese Army operation to root out the Viet Cong, was underway. Camera slate shows June 1967 (:07).
