Giorgio Zancanaro - Andrea Chenier: Son sessant’anni

The great baritone Giorgio Zancanaro sings Gérard’s entrance aria. Zancanaro was excellent: He was one of the best baritones around between the 1970s and 1990s. He sang like a master from the golden era of singing. Not like Joseph Calleja, Anna Netrebko Co. who are a disgrace. Julius Rudel conducts the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.
