Ben Kennedy’s Kanabo Kata.

I flew all the way to Ohio to play with Ben Kennedy’s kanabo! Well, that’s not the only reason why I went there but that was a major draw. Ben was kind enough to perform his kata for me, he created the kata himself. I have to say that this kanabo is a beast! It’s solid oak embedded with iron studs. When I was playing with it I said, “This thing is going to kill me!“ No, I never hit myself with it, but I gotta say it’s scary fun!
