Full title reads: “A frantic welcome for Vierkoetter, the German who swam the Channel in record time, on arrival in German capital by air“. Berlin, Germany. M/S of a crowd gathered around an aeroplane. We see them raise their hats in three cheers. M/S of Mr. H. Vierkoetter being carried on shoulders of the crowd. He carries a bunch of flowers under one arm. M/S, looking over heads of crowd, of car driving past. A man leans stands on running board, crowd obscures most of view.
