★ 2x🎥 🇨🇭Bellinzona - Basel cab ride with snowfall (Switzerland)

Welcome to another cab ride, this time from Bellinzona, through the new Gotthard tunnel and on to Basel. During our trip through the tunnel, part of the emergency lighting was on, allowing us a bit of a better look at the insides of the tunnel. Unfortunately the high beam lights on this locomotive (Br 189) weren’t as powerful as I was hoping, although I must say they look a lot better in real life. A highlight of this trip is the construction work going on between Flüelen & Brunnen, allowing us to travel along the “wrong track“ while a train heading the opposite direction has to wait. There probably aren’t many cab rides out there that aren’t special in some way, showing events and buildings that have since become part of history. If I’m not mistaken, this is my first video with a Br 189 / ES64F4 (SBB Re 474), which like its sister locomotive the ES64U2 Taurus, also has a female voice.
