German ARCE ROSS - Peut-on vraiment enseigner la psychanalyse à l’université? 2/8

German ARCE ROSS - Can we really teach psychoanalysis at the university? 2/8 The learning of psychopathology can not be, far from it, only theoretical or only deduced from a referential corpus. Clinical learning comes also and especially from the meeting with the patient, to the point that we can consider this one as the best teacher of psychopathology that is. The initial path of the future candidate for psychoanalyst must then necessarily include clinical practice in psychiatric services or in mental health institutions. The practice of clinical interview, the longest and varied possible, as well as a structural and phenomenological spotting of the differential diagnosis, are prerequisites for training. Interview given to students of the Institute of Psychology of the University of Paris-Descartes, represented by Jade Jolivet.— Video with French and English subtitles: please, feel free to help improve the translation of our subtitles.
