The World of Tomorrow; 1939 World’s Fair in New York City. Rare Photos from the Official Guide Book

Howdy ya’ll. Today we’re going to look through the oldest and rarest photographs of the 1939 World’s Fair in New York City. We will go through a cornucopia of information regarding the fair; and I will accompany the information in the current narrative with some information and photographs from the official 1939 World’s Fair Guide Book, which I was lucky enough to find and purchase locally at a farmers’ market. The 1939 World’s Fair was the first ever World’s Exhibition which focused solely on the future, as opposed to the present or past. The 1939 Fair was known as “The World of Tomorrow”, and today we will go through each and every major aspect of the fair which stood out to me. Can you believe this fair was not fully electrified? We will go over this, and other distinct features and anomalies of the fair, today. I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas regarding any of the information or photographs down below. As always, please like, share and subscribe for more Old World Videos, and check out my other videos with rare photographs from the unique World’s Fairs. Thank you all for 87K subscribers, Enjoy!
