Pastelmat First Impressions (This drawing is taking forever!) Sketchbook Sunday

Hey friends, I’m trying Pastelmat for the first time and I’m using colored pencil. This is an exercise in patience. This will be one of those videos to fall asleep to. I love the way it looks but it took a long time to color but the techniques on the bud are the same as the flowers. I think I will prefer this paper with pastels. Experiments coming soon! Still here?
