Cardinal Birds - Uke Line ft. Gordie Johnson

“Uke Line“ is the name of one of the most powerful lines in the NHL, which included three Ukrainians (The “Uke Line” of the Boston Bruins, formed in 1957, comprised Johnny Bucyk, Bronco Horvath and Vic Stasiuk, three forwards of Ukrainian heritage). I heard that Ukrainians in USA and especially in Canada are often called “Uke“ (after this nickname stuck to these three hockey players). I created a kind of metaphor and compared these hockey players and the Ukrainian people. Thus, we show the unity of Ukrainians around the world! Ukrainians who now live in Ukraine and the Ukrainian diaspora “Uke“. And this is Cardinal Birds (Ukrainians living in Ukraine) and the diaspora (Steve Sidelnyk and Gordie Johnson) -
