We are in the southeastern French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, on D219 another scenic balcony road. 4 unlit tunnels, 9 hairpin turns, the very narrow parts makes the D219 one of the scariest road in Europe. Driving this road becomes a challenge, you must have a good driver skill to drive on this road, to can evoid any mistakes. The road is carved into the sheer rock face.
