Boating to Passage Key (Clothing Optional)

What’s up everyone? In this adventure we take the boat to Passage Key aka Naked Island and bring you with us! Passage Key, also known as Naked Island, is situated about a mile from the Skyway Bridge, just off Anna Maria Island. This small sand island, once submerged at high tide, has recently transformed into a picturesque, exposed sand island with some new vegetation. The island remains a favorite spot for boaters who prefer a clothing-optional environment, hence its nickname, Naked Island. Visitors are required to stay off the sand island itself and remain in at least ankle-deep water. Typically, people anchor their boats and socialize in knee to waist-deep water. On weekends, it’s common to see over 100 boats gathered.
