In the kitchen of a Japanese restaurant (the Hiroko, London’s only traditional Japanese restaurant at this time) a chef puts a dove made from sweet potato onto a plate of flowers made of radishes and carrots. In another part of the kitchen, a groovy young Japanese man prepares sushi. On a small platform in the restaurant a woman in traditional dress does a Japanese fan dance.
