“While balancing on top of his reflection in a mirror, the Descendent represents the idea of a cultural castaway as he floats in between realms, belonging nowhere. The mirror is an integral part of this sculpture, and I’m pleased to finally continue the gesture of the reflection into the entire figure by using mirror polished stainless steel at a large scale.
