Yang Style 54 Tai Chi Sword

This Yang style Taiji Sword came to Mr. Luo from Sha Guo Zheng who learned his technique from Sun Lu Tang. This is essentially the famous Yang “13 Method Sword” with many additional stylistic points. Extra movements are added but all from classical sword work. Luo is fluid and graceful with the weapon and gives this famous form his own special interpretation. Towards the end of the disk he explains the basic strikes, always interesting if you are into the sword. Applications are peppered throughout the instruction. Luo Jin Hua studied under Master Sha Guozheng for 16 years. Luo Jin Hua is assigned the seventh level (duan wei). Since 1998, the Chinese Wushu Association, together with the National Sports Committee and the China Wushu Research Institute, have established a gradation system based on nine levels. Levels 7 to 9 are assigned only to very experienced masters with an excellent reputation. A person with level 7 is officially allowed to call himself a grand master. Support channel on Pay
