Just Baby (1932)

Full titles read: “JUST BABY (But, what a baby !), (a Process Camera experiment). Intertitle reads: “Baby - a little bundle of tears, smiles, and dynamite. And just delivered by Stork Express.“ L/S of a cute little baby lying top of some thick blankets, there is a large imposing model stork above it. C/U of the baby. Intertitle reads: “Days are far to short for Baby - so at night his other selves sneak off to do the things he overlooked.“ C/U of the baby fast asleep. With the help of trick photography a tiny baby appears on his temple. A number of babies are seen walking across the child’s forehead, (spooky !) and disappearing. Intertitle reads: “The infant explorer in Nightmareland - a strange country, peopled with grotesque figures out of the night !“ C/U’s of the baby’s toy monkey moving it’s arms legs and ears as well as a rabbit and a toy clown who dances (it’s rather weird and surreal). M/S’s of the baby playing with a camera and playing with a duck in a small bath tub. more trick phot
