First shipment along new China-Myanmar corridor makes it to Chengdu

For more: On August 27, the first batch of cargo successfully arrived at #Chengdu International Railway Port in Chengdu, capital of southwest #China’s Sichuan Province. This batch of goods was shipped by sea from Singapore to the Port of Yangon in #Myanmar, transported by road to Lincang of southwest China’s Yunnan Province, and traveled by direct railway to Chengdu. This is the most convenient new land-sea corridor connecting southwest China with the Indian Ocean, cutting the shipping time of around 20 days. It will become a new channel for China’s west to directly carry out international trade and logistics from the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean.
