There is a fence behind and a town in a valley below and beyond with snow topped roofs. M/S of an urban street with people outside sweeping their bit of pavement with brooms to keep it clear of snow. There’s community spirit. No gritting lorries here. A man walks along the street, away from camera. M/S deer under the trees in a park, looking picturesque in the snow. M/S ice bound ships with their funnels smoking. There are aerial shots. An ice breaker ship moves forward and there are shots from ship to ship.
