If you can’t hear anything above 16000 Hertz it’s probably because Youtube’s audio compression cut off frequencies above 16kHz. Try watching in HD to get better audio quality. There is still lossy compression and there are visible distortions at high end of the spectrum (high frequencies). If you don’t hear low frequencies it’s your hardware!
