Composer, poet and teacher. Born on March 2, 1953 in the city of Taganrog. She studied in Taganrog and then worked as a piano teacher and accompanist for vocalists at a music school. The creative personality and teaching activity of Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Marchenko has always been connected with music. She was always interested in music of a wide variety of styles and directions: from classical to jazz. The work of Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Marchenko is known not only in Russia, but also in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic. At the Christmas Prague festival, Lyudmila Marchenko’s song “Christmas” was performed three times by groups from different countries. For her original musical collections (a total of 8 collections were published), she was awarded the title of Laureate of the All-Russian competition “Pedagogical Innovations.” Lyudmila Aleksandrovna was awarded a Diploma from the Ministry of Culture of the Rostov Region as the most popular contemporary author of the Regional Vocal Competition, as well as a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of General and Professional Education .
