This workshop was designed by Edwin Ferreras and Daniela Grosso in 2013 as a way to educate Bachata dancers on the history / origins of Bachata via it’s predecessor, the Bolero. The contents highlight; leading and following fundamental shapes & figures, the intricate subtleties of the footwork, dancing in reference to the bass, and the posture and framework. Bolero developed in the late 1800s hundreds of years before what we know today as Bachata, understanding it will surely improve your game. The Bolero, like merengue, has become the signature and one of our most sought out workshop; requested and taught in multiple cities around the world.
