Thousands take to the streets to protest Covid measures in Utrecht

Thousands of anti-lockdown protestors have descended on the streets of York, Austria and the Netherlands as Europe faces up to a new Covid strain. No one has died with the new super mutant Omicron Covid variant despite the strain being spotted in 38 countries, the World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed. But world leaders have been implementing extra measures including large fines to encourage populations to get fully vaccinated.
