Chinese people celebrate National Day with colorful activities

For more: Chinese people across the country celebrated National Day on October 1 with a variety of colorful activities. Passengers and crew aboard a bullet train on the world’s highest and longest plateau railroad, the Qinghai-Xizang railway, joined in singing praises to their motherland. Many parents chose to mark the date by taking their children on patriotic tours in museums, memorials and former revolutionary sites, such as the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum in east China’s Jiangxi Province. Shenzhen and Hong Kong SAR, two neighboring cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, came together to organize drone light shows for the first time ever to commemorate the festival.
