My friends at KFJC 89.7 FM Foothill College, in Los Altos CA, invited me to perform live as part of a four hour special featuring my music. Because this station is special to me (it’s where I performed my first live event ever, in 1980) and because they celebrate experimental music, I wanted to play an improvised concert as much as possible. Some of this gear appears for the first time in my live rig. This means that I make mistakes, and sometimes the notes aren’t perfect. I like this because it’s real, it’s what I do.
