Peter Lawrence: Concertino for 2 trumpets and rhythm section, 1st movement

I wrote this Concertino some years ago for a CD recording featuring Matthias Höfs and Hans Gansch. The battle between baroque and jazz styles is apparent in the slight animosity between the 2 soloists in this recording! I am grateful to my son Jeremy for his technical support (cloning etc.), without which this video would not have been possible. All 3 of us hope you enjoy the performance...
