The Winter Lights of Porvoo 2022

Porvoo is idyllic in winter and full of lights by nature. But in the middle of the darkest time in February, it came in handy again. Namely, the Porvoo Lights city event, which was held from 11 to 13 February 2022. For three days, light installations and soundscapes had been sprinkled around the city. The nine magnificent works of Porvoo’s lights are thematically intertwined between the earth and the sky. All the works were outdoors, except for the light work of the Art Factory. Our beautiful city of Porvoo is a great platform for light works, because even without works, it is great to watch the lights of Porvoo. Especially from a bird’s eye view.
