Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds -- “I Had a Dream, Joe“ (Late Show with David Letterman, 1992)

A live version of “I Had a Dream, Joe“ by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds performed on the Late Show with David Letterman on July 23, 1992 in promotion of Henry’s Dream. Recorded at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York. The audio has been digitally remastered (dB cuts, auto-phase correction, slight equalization and click reductions) and has been corrected to true stereo from the original single channel. DISCLAIMER I do not, nor have I claimed that I, own the media file, or content of said file, featured in this video. The audio is used for the purposes of criticism and comment on the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and this particular performance. It is intended -- in the context of scholarship -- to inform the viewer/listener of the sound of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and this performance while not displacing the original recording. This complies with section 107 of the United States Copyright Act of 1976 which states that “the fair use of a copyrighted work... for purposes such as criticism, comment,... not an infringement of copyright.“ The featured video is an televised recording, recorded by personnel at NBC, and though a copyright license, no copyright infringment is intended and use of the media file for purposes described above is legal.
