Antichissimo brano composto per la morte dell’eroico Re Irlandese Brian Boru avvenuta in battaglia nel 1014 mentre guidava il suo popolo contro gli invasori Norreni che vennero sconfitti. Fu anche suonatore di arpa che da allora divenne simbolo e vessillo della sua terra. Very ancient song composed for the death of the heroic Irish King Brian Boru which took place in battle in 1014 while he led his people against the Norse invaders who were defeated. He was also a harp player which from then on became a symbol and banner of his land.
