Dave And Dusty (1947)

Titles read: “DAVE AND DUSTY“. London. A Rolls Royce stands outside a big London house in a Georgian terrace. A chauffeur stands beside the car. Pan across to show small boy Dave and his shaggy dog Dusty sitting on the steps of a building nearby. Dave gets up and walks over to the car to have a closer look. C/U of the emblem on the the bonnet of the Rolls. Dave peers at all the features of the car, getting down on the ground to look under the rear bumper. Dave asks the chauffeur if there was any chance of a ride; the chauffeur shakes his head, ’no’. Dave sits down on the steps again and after a while the chauffeur changes his mind and lets Dave and Dusty get in the car and have a little ride.
