Using a lifeline in your knitting

This is a preventative measure when doing lace work, or any knitting where unraveling and putting back on the needles properly would be tricky or impossible. If you’re knitting with interchangeable needles, I’ve invented a shortcut: insert dental floss into the tiny hole in your needle before knitting a row, and it will automatically insert the lifeline as you knit (skipping the need to use a tapestry needle).
