Домашние питомцы заменяют детей

A growing number of pet owners in Japan are having their dogs and cats blessed during the traditional Shichi-Go-San coming-of-age festival for children. The “seven-five-three” ceremony is usually for boys and girls as they reach those ages. But at the Inuneko Jinja or “dog-cat shrine” within the Zama Shrine in Kanagawa prefecture south of the capital Tokyo, shiba inu dogs dressed in kimonos attend the ritual with their owners. The celebration, meant to reflect the deep bond between pet owners and their animals, has been gaining popularity amid Japan’s falling birth rate. #news_for_kids #dogs #japan #kids #english #собаки #япония #дети #английский #новости
