Lots of people mix up “affect“ and “effect.“ But you won’t after you watch this video! Just think: affect is usually a verb, meaning to act on; and effect is usually a noun, meaning a result.
Exceptions: when affect is a noun (hardly ever) and when effect is a verb (hardly ever). We’ll see lots of examples and even see a special effect (with an e).
