Tangerine Dream A recording session in „Elektronische Beatwerkstatt“ – a studio founded in 1968 with funding by the West-Berlin city government. It was located in the basement of a school. The Swiss composer Thomas Kessler, who became the first director of the studio, familiarized the young musicians not only with recording techniques but also with the compositional concepts of the avant-garde.
