VenomousMEPs Contest [closed]

Hello everyone! As you probably saw in the video, we are very excited to anounce the very first VenomousMEPs contest! :D If you plan on joining, make sure you read this. Sorry if the text goes a little fast, but I will explain how things work here too. I apologize in advance if it’s confusing! I will try my best to help you understand, but if you have any questions whatsoever, don’t be afraid to post a comment and ask. ^^ So there are 4 categories based on song genre. The 4 genres (categories) are: pop, alternative rock, dubstep, and remix/mashup! For each category, there are 8 slots. Sign up for the category that is your favorite and that will best display your talent!! All contestants will be paired up within their category until there is a champion from each of the categories (there will be 4 total), who will then be paired up to compete with each other until we have an overall champion! So basically, each category is a mini-contest, and the winners of those mini-contests will compete with each other until there is an overall winner. Each pair will receive the same segment of music that is approximately 20 seconds long. All rounds will be uploaded for the public to vote on. Winners will be decided by public vote as well as by the judges. Also, there will be 8 extra “replacement“ slots. They will only be allowed to compete if someone has to drop out and/or cannot finish their part. How to join: Post a comment saying which category you want to be in! We are going to be somewhat selective as to whom we let in (don’t worry, we will make sure the “less common“ people will get a chance too! ^^) Rules: - You MUST be able to finish 20-ish seconds of work in approximately 2 weeks! This is very important because we do not want the contest to take months to finish. - Absolutely NO watermarks, it is important to remain anonymous! You may reveal your part and/or upload it ONCE THE ROUND IS OVER. - Any animated footage can be used, but standard animash footage is best (NO live action or anime!)
