Traditional wrestling is practiced as one of the most popular sports in South Sudan by Dinka Bor tribe from Jonglei state, Ciec, Aliap and Atuot tribes from Lakes state and the Mundari from Central Equatoria state. All are cattle keepers and the game used to be played by the youth in the cattle camps mainly for fame and pride.
