London. Various shots show workers of an Italian firm, including Ray and Mario Vellini, at work, making plaster models from gelatine moulds. Ray makes a mould by pouring gelatine mixture around a plasticine model. Mario prepares plaster which is poured into the set gelatine moulds. The moulds are taken off and we see the plaster models which are painted.
